Screenex-Tech.com believes in and works towards equal opportunities on the web for people with various disabilities and/or using assistive technologies to operate a computer.
Accessible Website Symbol
An “Accessible Website” symbol is
the initiative of the non-profit organization Access Israel and the Israel
Internet Association. The symbol is placed on websites adapted to the
requirements to make them accessible to people with disabilities.
The purpose of placing the symbol is to promote public awareness of web
accessibility and to inform website users of the extent of its accessibility.
Website Accessibility
This website meets the requirements of the
Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Adaption of
Accessibility to Services), 2013.
The website conforms to the recommendations of the Israeli standard (SI 5568) for web content accessibility at Level AA.
It has also been adapted for display on the most popular web browsers and those
used on cellular phones.
Some of what was done on the website
We added an assistive accessibility component
that is compatible with WordPress (link to the component website https://wp-accessibility.org and allows controlling the font size,
bypassing blocks, instructional texts for NVDA and Jaws screen readers,
keyboard navigation that makes it easier for a user without using mouse,
adjustments to adapt the website for a user with an NVDA and Jaws screen
reader, making it easy to view shades of black and white/color contrasts, to
block animation and any moving component on the website, and to emphasize links .To achieve the optimal user
experience with a screen reader, we recommend using the latest NVDA software.
It should be noted that despite our efforts to
make our web pages accessible to everybody, the attached documents (such as
Word, PDF, and Excel), the internal management
system, and the video files are still being made accessible, which we are
taking steps to complete.
If you need a document that appears on the website but is not accessible, please contact us with a link to the location, and we will take care of it as soon as possible.
If you encounter a component or page on the website that is not accessible, we would appreciate it if you could contact us, and we will rectify it as soon as possible.
